Key Partners & Special Projects
Now in its 4th year, RA and Sonos continue their flagship content partnership. Read and watched by millions, we share never-before-told stories of electronic music's most respected selectors. A unique partnership evolving at the same pace as the industry and artists it covers.
Nike collaborated with RA to launch London: ON AIR, a series of events designed to celebrate the defining moments that have pushed London club culture forward. The series culminated on Air Max Day with a party at iconic London venue, fabric. The explosive line up with secret guests was streamed to the world to celebrate 30 years of Air Max.
Running since 1994, Sonar is arguably the most important electronic music festival in the world. Our decade-long partnership has evolved in innovative ways every year. 2016 saw RA become the first media partner to host a stage, broadcasting the night to millions of people around the world, and in 2017 our story continues.
RA & Absolut collaborate to showcase and support some of the UK’s most forward-thinking promoters. Delivering a new perspective on nightlife, we take over the country's best underground venues to programme rarely-seen sides of influential artists and celebrate the crews that keep their local scenes thriving in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. The result; unique experiences for fans and exceptional dancefloor moments.
RA has pledged to support important causes and projects around the world each year. In 2014, we chose to support Bridges For Music, a charity rooted in the belief that music has the power to positively impact the lives of those with limited opportunities. Funded entirely by the money raised through the #Cycle2ADE
, Bridges for Music is building a music and entrepreneurship school in Langa, a township in South Africa. Through the combined efforts of riders, industry supporters and our global audience we raised over €120,000.
As part of our ongoing efforts to support charities and special initiatives, we launched our partnership with Help Refugees at ADE 2016 with the inaugural RA Cup Charity Football tournament. Help Refugees provides emergency aid and vital services to those affected by the global refugee crisis, which currently impacts approximately 65 million people worldwide. Our staff and resources will support them in their tireless efforts to help in ways that governmental and nongovernmental bodies cannot. The RA x Help Refugees partnership includes fundraising, staff volunteering, workshops and a #ChooseLove social media campaign across 2017.
