- Ophelia arrives this week on the Japanese producer's own Kebko Music label.
Akiko Kiyama's next album, Ophelia, is being released this week.
Earlier in the year Kiyama launched her own label, Kebko Music, to focus specifically on experimental sounds. Its first release was the limited-edition, pre-album Newmud cassette, and next up is Ophelia, the Japanese artist's fourth full-length and perhaps her most abstract work. It'll be made available as a limited cassette and will also come on CD, with both versions including a free digital download. Kiyama's vocal collaborator, Varya Pavlova, AKA Lisokot, appears on five tracks, and the tape and CD versions of the album will feature original silk-screen artwork from Damien Tran, AKA Palefroi.
You can try out (and order) Ophelia at the label's Bandcamp page.
