The San Francisco producer has three shows lined up for this weekend.
Matrixxman will play three Australian gigs this weekend.
The San Francisco techno artist—real name Charlie Duff—will cram the shows into two days, starting with a set at Melbourne's Revolver Upstairs on February 5th with support from Hannah Lockwood, Kiti and Brooke Powers. The next afternoon he'll fly to Brisbane for a Kush Club party at a TBA location with local jocks Percy Miracles, Simon Bird and DIDI playing through to 9 PM. Later that night, Motorik will host Duff at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, where Stephane 1993, Stereogamous and Francis Xavier complete the bill.
In 2015 Duff released his first album, Homesick, which came in at No. 18 in our albums poll. He's carried that momentum into this year with a new remix EP that sees Larry Heard revisiting his Gherkin Jerks alias to contribute three reworks of Homesick track "Augmented." The record, which also included remixes from Mike Parker and Vin Sol, came out on Ghostly International last week.
