  • Liine, the Berlin-based software developers behind Lemur, have announced a new product called Skram. Create Digital Music reports that the iPad app includes four sound sources. Orphic generates bell-tones, BR-909 supplies (you guessed it) 909 drums sounds, Heatstroke is for "edgy, metallic" sounds while Skram is for acid lines. The app comes with widgets for arpeggios, drum and pitch sequencers, which allow you to create generative patterns, enabling beginners to get things going fairly easily. Liine says that more devices, widgets and features are due in the future. You can purchase Skram now via the App Store for $4.99. Watch Skram in action below.
