The #saveourculture campaign, launched last Friday, is raising money for the club's legal costs.
A fundraiser for
fabric
has raised more than £120K in three days.
Launched
on Friday, September 16th, the campaign is aiming to raise £500K to cover staffing and legal costs incurred since fabric's license was
revoked
by Islington Council. The club, currently preparing to
appeal
the decision, announced the campaign with a statement on Friday evening, explaining that the fundraiser was "about more than fabric" and that without its usual income stream "it's impossible for us" to appeal the decision without "social and financial" help from the public.
