The club also ran over its 5 AM cut-off by more than an hour earlier this week.
According to Diario De Ibiza, the sanctions are for two different reasons: excessive noise levels and closing later than allowed. Sant Josep police visited the club twice in the early hours of Tuesday, October 11th—at 1:45 AM to shut down the music in The Garden, and then again at 6:15 AM, more than an hour after the party's 5 AM cut-off.
In previous years, The Garden has stayed open later at the closing, but DC-10 was denied a one-off late license this time around. Several local residents phoned the police to complain about the noise. If the penalties stick, DC-10 could face several fines. Monday's finale featured a long list of house and techno acts, including Jamie Jones, Luciano and Loco Dice.
