- The Milan-based label will put out three new releases over the next few months.
Haunter Records, the Milan-based experimental label that helps run Saturnalia Festival at the celebrated venue Macao has three new EPs on the way.
One record will come out in each of the next three months. First up and due out in early February is Jemi from Broshuda, a Berlin-based producer notching what looks to be his first full vinyl release. Haunter says the 30-minute record features "pieces of apparent simplicity that gradually unravel to engage in complex emotional vignettes," and "a profoundly introspective and earthy character."
Next will be Zuli, an Egyptian producer who's crafted a pair of 12-inches for Lee Gamble's UIQ imprint, and who last year remixed Petit Singe for Haunter—his Trigger Finger EP is due out in March. The following month will then see label cofounder Sense Fracture present his debut release, In My Escape I Look For A Weapon.
Last year RA heard Macao's story. The venue is currently vying for recognition as a cultural institution.
