serpentwithfeet's debut EP, Blisters, will land on Tri Angle Records September 2nd.
Baltimore-born singer and producer Josiah Wise weaves R&B and gospel together with classical influences and electronic textures. He signed with Tri Angle last month to release "Flickering," the lead single off of his forthcoming EP. The five track record, which the label calls "exotic, erotic and strangely beautiful," features production and songwriting from The Haxan Cloak. Describing the "Blisters," Tri Angle says: "Wise’s multi-tracked voice plays against gently-plucked harp and syncopated handclaps. The EP's gospel affectations and slinky R&B tropes fusing into something altogether new."
