  • Firecracker Recordings will present a live show from their new signing Les Graciés in a silo on Saturday, August 27th. Les Graciés is a duo made up of Eric Douglas Porter (Afrikan Sciences) and Gaël Segalen (IhearU). Their gig will take place in a building that was once used to store sugar. The label was inspired to put on a gig there after visiting a performance by local collective Resono in the Silo in May. The pair will perform three experimental live sets throughout the afternoon. Firecracker, RA's label of the month from February, say the venue's main chamber "boasts a cathedral-esque reverberation featuring a disorientating 14-second delay." The performances, which are limited to only 25 audience members each, will be at 2 PM, 4 PM and 6 PM, and will last around 30-40 minutes. Les Graciés' forthcoming LP for the label is out this month, followed by an EP from Lord Of The Isles in September.
