  • ASC will return to Silent Season on November 1st. James Clements has become a regular fixture on the BC-based imprint, using it as an outlet for ambient music while he releases uptempo material for labels like Samurai and Auxiliary. No Stars Without Darkness is his fifth Silent Season LP in just three years, following last year's Fervent Dream. Silent Season doesn't provide much info on the release—it's nine tracks long, and it's dedicated to a J.B.N. Smith. No Stars Without Darkness rounds off a busy 2016 for Clements. In addition to a handful of EPs, he started the Colors Fade series collecting unreleased material, debuted a new alias called Comit and scored a video game.
