The TRBxM stops low frequencies from passing into your decks.

MasterSounds and TPI have released a turntable isolator.

The TRBxM is designed to eliminate feedback by stopping vibrations from entering your turntable. Billed as the "definitive reference in turntable vibration isolation," it removes vibrations from 1Hz to 450Hz. Developed by vibroacoustic engineers and built to military specifications by TPI Aerospace, it fits Technics' SL range decks, although it can be adjusted to fit other brands. It's the first in a series of forthcoming products from the two companies.

The TRBxM ships next week and costs £299. MasterSounds recently released a new line of high-end DJ mixers, while the UK company's Radius 2 mixer remains a popular option in the compact rotary mixer market.

Typically found in context's with large soundsystems and poor isolation, turntable feedback usually appears as a low drone. Various DIY isolation methods are commonly used, especially concrete blocks with tennis balls cut in half.

You can learn more about turntable isolation in Objekt's guide and general turntable setup advice in our feature.
