AlphaTheta announces first rotary mixer

AlphaTheta, the parent company of Pioneer DJ, is releasing a rotary mixer for the first time. Priced at £3,2499, the AlphaTheta Euphonia is the first-ever rotary mixer with display, according to the Japanese firm. The four-channel mixer boasts specially developed rotary faders and built-in send FX.

Berlin techno receives UNESCO Cultural Heritage status

Announced on March 14th, techno was one of six additions to the list. The Berlin Club Commission described it as "another milestone for the city's techno producers, artists, club operators and event organisers."

New club Tilla Tec to open in former De School building

A new venue is opening in Amsterdam in the building previously home to De School. Founded by Lola Edo and Samuel King, Tilla Tec will take over the well-known building on April 1st and host its official launch party on April 12th.

MUENZE at risk of eviction due to development plans

Berlin club MUENZE is fighting back against development proposals that would lead to its eviction. Located within cultural venue Alte Münze, the club has launched a petition and received support from the Berlin Club Commission.
